All balloons and party plastics should be banned




Parties are entertaining to take part in. Look at all of those colorful balloons and bright red cups! But did you know, after your party, you're putting the lives of seabirds at risk? All party plastics should be banned. First of all, party plastics are very harmful to the environment. They kill many essential plants and animals. Second, they disrupt the food chain. Plastics can contain toxins, and plastics may end up in your seafood or kill animals crucial to the food chain. Finally, plastics can cause diseases in humans. Chemicals from plastic may interfere with hormones or carry diseases to the human body. In conclusion, party plastics should be banned for the betterment of the environment.
